"About Me" - Apostle Linda R. Guy    Lrguy2174@gmail.com

Apostle Linda R. Guy is Pastor and Founder of Anointed Tabernacle Deliverance Ministries in Greensboro, North Carolina for almost 21 years.  A native of Mullins, South Carolina, she is the youngest of ten siblings.  Apostle Guy’s mother, the late Mrs. Annie Dell Reaves instilled in her at an early age strong Christian values.

Upon completion of high school, she attended North Carolina A&T State University where she majored in Business Education.  During her time at North Carolina A&T, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior.  She then joined United Institutional Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Charles & Lois Anderson.  Pastor Guy was a faithful member for 23 years upon their deaths.  Mother Anderson became a mentor to her and made a great impact in her life until this day!  She later answered the call of God on her life and attended United Bible Institute in Burlington, North Carolina and received a Degree in Theology.  She is listed in the 1992-93 Who’s Who Registry, Platinum Edition for outstanding professional and community involvement.  She is a certified Chaplain and was a volunteer at Moses Cone and Women’s Hospital, prior to her call in full-time ministry in September 1994.

In addition to her busy pastoral schedule, she was involved in numerous community activities. To name a few: Member of Class III of Challenge Greensboro Leadership, Counselor to homeless families for Greensboro Urban Ministry, and a board member of Guilford County Minority AIDS Task Force.  In 1986, she was a founder of “Laborers of Love” an organization aiding burned out victims in providing food and clothing for needy families.  She was also on the panel of “Ask the Pastor,” television program from time to time.   She seeks to lift and build up those who are hurting and has a great passion for the homeless, lost, and providing good news of Salvation of Jesus Christ.

She has ministered overseas (2003) in the Middle East at the National Evangelical Church in Bahrain, where Rev. Richard Westra is the Pastor. Traveling and carry the Word of God to anyone who is open and willing to accept Jesus, as their Savior is her great passion.

She has been married for twenty-five years to Leon Guy and is the devoted mother of one son, Lamonte and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Shirley and 5 grandchildren.

Finally, to the utmost, the ministry and vision God has placed within her could be summed up in this one scripture, Isaiah 61:1 – “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”     Lrguy2174@gmail.com
